Any questions?
Price and payment
What affects the price?
The price depends first and foremost on the size of your home – but we also look at a few other things, so we can give you an accurate quote that suits you:
- The size of your home – this matters most for how long the cleaning takes.
- How tidy it is – we don't tidy up or move things, and we don't clean under items left out. We clean the clear surfaces, so the more of them there are, the more thorough the result.
- Delicate surfaces – e.g. special materials that need extra care.
- Extra wishes – e.g. cleaning the fridge or oven, and other extra tasks.
That's why the free home visit matters: the quote is tailored to your home rather than a general guess. It also means the price in the quote is the final price – we don't change it afterwards, and there are no surprises on the invoice after the first clean.
What does the hourly rate cover?
The hourly rate covers the cleaning work itself – there are no extra or hidden costs on top:
- No travel charge, however far away you live within our area.
- We bring the cleaning products and equipment – you don't pay extra for them.
- We're fully insured, and that doesn't cost you extra either.
In other words, the hourly rate is the only amount you pay – no surprises when the invoice arrives.
Can I get servicefradrag?
Yes. We only invoice for the cleaning work itself – with no separate items for travel or materials – so the whole amount qualifies for servicefradrag, the Danish tax deduction. In 2026 that's a saving of about 26%, on up to DKK 18,300 per person per year (double for couples). To claim it, you must pay electronically (bank transfer or card) so the payment is documented – cash payments don't qualify.
Read more in our guide to servicefradrag.
Booking, frequency and cancellation
How often do you recommend cleaning?
You can choose between three options: weekly, every other week or monthly.
- Weekly is ideal if mess builds up quickly – e.g. in families with small children, in larger households, or if you simply like your home to always feel freshly cleaned.
- Every other week suits most of our customers – in our experience it keeps the home most evenly clean, and the time needed is easy to predict.
- Monthly is also an option, but bear in mind that with longer gaps between visits, the time needed can vary more from visit to visit than with the more frequent options.
Can I cancel a cleaning if something comes up?
Yes, but the terms depend on when you cancel:
- If you cancel 24 hours or more before the cleaning, it costs nothing.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before, we charge DKK 250.
- If you don't let us know and we can't get in, the full price is payable – the time can no longer be given to another customer.
If you cancel, we'll look at our calendar and try to find another time if we can. That isn't always possible – the calendar may already be full. Doing a thorough job for all our customers matters more to us than squeezing in a cancelled visit at any cost.
What happens if you have to cancel a visit?
If something unexpected happens on our side, we always try to tell you as early as possible, and we aim to give at least 24 hours' notice – so you can plan too.
Still, unexpected situations can arise where we have to cancel at less than 24 hours' notice. Then we take DKK 250 off the price of your next cleaning – the same amount we'd charge you the other way round. It matters to us that the rule works equally both ways.
What if I have to cancel because of illness?
A mild cold or a bit of a cough is no problem – there's no need to cancel. With more serious, contagious illness (e.g. vomiting, diarrhoea or a bacterial infection), however, we ask you to cancel the cleaning – it protects us and the other customers we visit afterwards. Let's look after each other.
The same applies if your young child is ill at home: here too, we recommend cancelling.
If you don't tell us about the illness in advance and we only find out when we arrive, we can't carry out the cleaning, and it counts as a same-day cancellation (full price) as described above. It's in everyone's interest.
What happens if the cleaner is ill or on holiday?
As a small family business where the same trusted person always cleans your home, we can't offer a replacement.
In case of illness or holidays, we'll see whether we can move your cleaning to another agreed day – the same week or the week after. If that isn't possible, the visit is skipped, and of course you don't pay for it.
We always plan our holidays well ahead and let all our customers know in advance, so you can count on it.
Do you work on public holidays?
No – we don't work on public holidays. If your cleaning falls on a public holiday, we move it to another day if there's room in the calendar; otherwise the visit is skipped, and of course you don't pay for it.
Access, peace of mind and guarantee
How do we get into your home?
It's entirely up to you whether you're at home while we clean. Choose whatever suits you best:
- You let us in, if you're at home.
- You use a key box and give us the code.
- You give us a key at the first visit, which we then keep safely.
If you give us a key, it carries neither a name nor an address – not on the key itself, nor in our records – so if it were ever lost, no one could trace it back to your home. Your trust and your home's safety come first.
What happens if something breaks during the cleaning?
It rarely happens, but if it does, we'll tell you straight away. Our business is insured for exactly this kind of situation – so you needn't worry that an accident ends up costing you. You can read more on the page Good to know.
What do I do if I'm not happy with the cleaning?
We offer a satisfaction guarantee, so if something isn't right, just tell us.
- If you find a specific fault (e.g. a surface that hasn't been cleaned properly): email us a photo that clearly shows what and where the problem is, and say when the photo was taken. We'll then come back at an agreed time for a free follow-up clean and put it right.
- If it isn't a specific fault – you'd just like something done differently, or there's a spot in your home we should pay extra attention to – please tell us. We'll note your wish and take it into account from the next visit.
Products and cleaning
Which cleaning products do you use?
We choose what we use with care:
- Fragrance-free, Nordic Swan Ecolabel products – sustainability and the environment matter to us, and the products are reliably safe for pets and children alike. Fragrances and artificial colourings can cause allergies and irritation and aren't healthy in the long run, so we deliberately avoid them.
- Microfibre cloths instead of ordinary cloths – they're especially good at removing dust and dirt.
- A colour-coded cloth system, so dirt never travels from one surface to another: pink for the toilet and the area around it, blue for the kitchen, and green for the bathroom, all other surfaces and dusting. That way you can be sure we'll never, say, wipe a kitchen tap with the toilet cloth.
Where and how do you store the cleaning products?
We keep the cleaning products in your home rather than carrying them from customer to customer – it's more hygienic, because nothing moves from one home to another.
The products stand side by side in a closed floor bucket – so the bottles can't tip over, and a more acidic product can't damage your floor (especially wooden floors).
Because the products stay with you, we can easily see when something is running low and buy more in time – so we never run short.
And remember: cleaning products and equipment are always free – you never pay for them.
Area and contact
Which areas do you cover?
We mainly work in Greater Copenhagen and East Zealand. We're based in Køge, but that doesn't mean we only work nearby – our customers live around Copenhagen and in other parts of East Zealand.
Do you speak Danish?
We're learning Danish and want to become fully confident in it over time – until then, we communicate in English so nothing gets misunderstood.
